HiveMQ Platform Operator for Kubernetes 1.6.1 Maintenance Release

The HiveMQ Team is pleased to announce the availability of HiveMQ Platform Operator for Kubernetes 1.6.1. This maintenance release for the 1.6 series provides useful bug fixes and usability enhancements.

HiveMQ Platform Operator for Kubernetes Helm charts

  • HiveMQ Helm charts are now officially signed.
  • Added support for HiveMQ Client Event History configuration.
  • Added configuration options for HiveMQ max-topic-length and rest-api-audit-log in the HiveMQ Platform Helm chart.
  • Added the ability to configure watched namespaces and complex label selectors to precisely control which HiveMQ Platforms a HiveMQ Platform Operator instance manages.

HiveMQ Platform Operator for Kubernetes

  • Replaced lowercase dotted environment variable names in the HiveMQ Platform Operator deployment with uppercase letters and underscores.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent the broker from reading the hivemq-extension.xml file while the HiveMQ Platform Operator updates the file.
  • Fixed a permission issue in the HiveMQ Platform Operator that can occur when installing a custom extension with a configuration ConfigMap that contains subfolders in the extension configuration folder.
