That’s why we created CONNACK!, HiveMQ’s in-person community event series, launched in 2023, to bring together innovators, technologists, and thinkers passionate about Unified Namespace (UNS), MQTT, and IoT data streaming. From Boston to Paris and Munich, each CONNACK! event has been a melting pot of brilliant ideas, real-world experiences, and new connections.

Why We Host the CONNACK! Event

At HiveMQ, we’re more than an MQTT broker—we’re an IoT data streaming platform built for the demands of industrial systems. We help enterprises modernize their data infrastructure and enable architectures like the Unified Namespace (UNS), making it possible to deliver real-time, contextual data across the enterprise.

But solving hard problems like IT/OT convergence or AI integration isn’t something any one company can do alone. It takes a community. That’s why we created CONNACK!—a space for industrial innovators, architects, and engineers to learn from each other, challenge the status quo, and share what’s working (and what’s not) when it comes to streaming data at scale.

In the ‘UNS + AI Agents = Useful or Just Double the Hype?’ session, we’ll discuss how manufacturing companies are still struggling with the digital transformation of their production— especially when they try to build use cases on an outdated system landscape, lots of batch-based point-to-point connections, and the automation pyramid. The concept of the Unified Namespace can help here to create a well-structured data layer for the smart factory. There is now plenty of practical experience that the UNS is more than just hype. However, “AI agents” is another buzzword already in town. We take a look at how and whether agent-based systems make sense for manufacturing companies and what happens when an AI agent is combined with a UNS.
